The philosophy behind our volunteer programme

 

Major sporting events, such as the 12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics berlin 2009™, are no longer conceivable without the help of volunteers

Volunteers are of the utmost importance for the implementation of major national and international sporting events. They play a key role in the atmosphere of an event. The direct contact between the volunteers and the visitors, the athletes, and the functionaries will leave a lasting impression on guests well after the event is over. The volunteers’ hard work and enthusiasm and their high level of motivation are important factors for the success of our event.
