• The day ticket gives entry to the single event of your choice in the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
• The competitions on Tuesday 18 August 2009 are divided into morning and evening events. Each of these events requires its own admission ticket.
• When booking tickets for several days events, you do not have the right to reserve the same seat.

• The season ticket gives entry to the whole range of events in the Berlin Olympic Stadium during the World Championships in Athletics from 15 August to 23 August 2009.
• The same seat is reserved for each day of the Championships.

Ticket concessions are available for school students and students (up to 27 years of age), disabled persons (with 50% disability or over), trainees (up to 27 years of age), young persons (up to 16 years of age), persons engaged in military or alternative civilian service and unemployed persons. Please note that reduced price tickets will only be issued on submission of valid proof of eligibility. Such proof must also be furnished if requested by the staff at admission control. Combination of different ticket concessions is not allowed.

• 20% reduction on all standard day tickets. Does not apply to the category “Finish Line Area“.
• Children under 6 do not need a valid ticket to gain entry to the event but have no right to a separate seat.
• All tickets include free transport to and from the event with Berlin's VBB public transport system (tariff zone Berlin-ABC).
