The Competitions
Overview of the competitions
Some 1,800 athletes from the whole world are taking part in the
nine day Championships, competing in 47 competitions across 24
different disciplines. A minimum of three and a maximum of seven
competitions can be held on the same day. On the morning of the
third day no competitions take place.
