Leisure time arrangements |
Nuertingen’s outdoor baths at the foot of Galgenberg Hill with a modern stainless steel pool entice young and old into its cool waters. The river Neckar is a well-known haven for rowers, although pedal boaters come here to enjoy themselves, as well.
Cyclists are often drawn to the popular Neckar Valley cycling paths or the more challenging paths up into the Swabian hills. Nuertingen also has bowling lanes, kart racing tracks, a golf course and several cinemas. In the Tiefenbach Valley you can meet joggers, cyclists and inline skaters, while fans of the railway can explore the Neuffener Valley on a ride on the historic Sofazügle steam train. | ||||||||||||||||
Cultural programme |
From the vantage point of the Teck Castle, the whole world seems to lie at your feet. In the open-air-museum in Beuren you can find out what life was like for earlier central European generations. A popular destination, not only for walkers, is the Hohenneuffen Hill with its monumental castle and the idyllic beer garden at its top.
